950 King St. West, Toronto – High Rise Development
SIRATI & Partners was retained by Palace Arms LP to undertake a Geotechnical and Hydrogeological investigation at the property located at 950 King Street West in Toronto, Ontario.
The site will be redeveloped with a sixteen-storey high-rise building, with three levels of basement.
The purpose of the investigations was to determine the subsurface conditions and make engineering recommendations for the following:
- Foundations
- Floor slab and permanent drainage
- Excavations and backfill
- Earthquake considerations
- Earth pressures
- Temporary Shoring
Hydrogeological assessment principally included door to door surveys, water balance analysis and recommendations for requirements of Permit to Take Water (PTTW) application in line with the City of Toronto requirements.
