808 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto – Proposed High Rise Development
SIRATI & Partners was retained by lead architects Sweeny & Co. Architects Inc. to undertake a range of engineering services related to the development of the 44 storey tower with 4 basement levels.
The purpose of the geotechnical investigation was to determine subsurface conditions and provide engineering recommendations and solutions for the following:
- Foundations
- Floor Slab and Permanent Drainage
- Excavation and Backfilling
- Earthquake Considerations
- Earth Pressures
- Temporary Shoring Solutions
In addition to the geotechnical support services, SIRATI & Partners conducted a detailed Hydrogeological Assessment for the development to assess groundwater conditions primarily concerned with with planned construction excavation and the proposed new underground parking.
